Siden DIN | Founder
Mr. Siden is the Founder of Din & Co. and the Director of the NUM International Program of Legal Studies (iLaw). In addition, he is a Legal Specialist of the Cambodian Legal Reform Committee and serves as an Advisor to the Ministry of Commerce (with the rank of Director General). As a seasoned legal expert and institutional leader, he has played a pivotal role in shaping Cambodia’s legal landscape, previously serving as the Secretary General of the National Commercial Arbitration Centre and as the Deputy Secretary General and Spokesperson for the Bar Association of the Kingdom of Cambodia.
His core expertise includes:
- Strategic Policy & Government Advisory: Providing high-level counsel to the Royal Government of Cambodia and contributing to national legal policies, including the Strategic Framework of the Royal Government of Cambodia's Legal Reform Program, Young Lawyers Policy and legal aid frameworks.
- Arbitration & Institutional Development: As former Secretary General of the NCAC, he led the drafting of the latest NCAC Arbitration and Mediation Rules and helped developed the center’s three-year strategic plan.
- Legal Education & Curriculum Design: Founder and Director of the NUM iLaw Program, where he has pioneered English-language legal education at NUM and established it as a premier program in Cambodia.
- Dispute Resolution & International Advocacy: A recognized expert in international moot courts, having initiated and coached over 20 teams to historic victories for Cambodia in competitions across Europe and Asia.
Mr. Siden holds an English Language-Based Bachelor of Law from the Royal University of Law and Economics. He completed the Arbitrator Certification Training with the NCAC and has completed the Lawyer’s Professional Skills Training at the Center for Training of the Legal Profession with the Bar Association. A frequent international speaker, he is regularly invited to discuss dispute resolution and ADR landscapes across the ASEAN region, including recent engagements in Malaysia, Vietnam, and Hong Kong.
